I choose to shape the narrative, not inherit it.

When everyone asks, “How do we make this work?” I often find myself asking, “Why are we doing it this way in the first place?”
I’m drawn to questions that sit underneath the obvious ones.
I build. I write. I experiment. I question. And when something feels too familiar, I turn it around and look at it from the other side.
I don’t believe a life has to follow a single trajectory. Mine certainly hasn’t.
I’m still learning, still building, still becoming, and perhaps the most interesting work is the work that hasn’t been named yet.
This is where I document some of it.
For five years, I taught Political Science and International Relations.
My classrooms became idea labs, spaces to question assumptions, challenge established ways of thinking, debate, disagree and look at the same question from different sides.
I taught ideas. The classroom taught me how many ways an idea could be seen.
I believe our values mean more when they shape the choices we make.
For me, a self-respect marriage was one such choice: a way of putting equality, dignity and liberation into practice.
No caste. No rituals. No dowry. No lavish wedding.
It was not about rejecting celebration.
It was about choosing what we believed should define it.
I like taking an idea beyond the drawing board and seeing what it can become.
For me, entrepreneurship is the freedom to question what already exists, experiment with alternatives, and build something of my own.
The House of Mindful Living began with that instinct: to create products that make living enjoyable, without making mindful choice feel like a compromise.
I build because some ideas deserve to become real.
Ideas and ideologies matter when we act on them.
For me, conviction has to move beyond what we believe and become something we do.
Mission 21A came from one such belief: a child who wants to study should not be held back by financial circumstances.
We identify potential, remove barriers, bring the right guidance and opportunities closer, and help a child see possibilities beyond the circumstances they are in.
That is how I choose to turn belief into action.
Writing is another way I think.
It gives me the space to question an idea, explore its many sides and give it a life beyond my own thoughts.
Some ideas eventually demand a form of their own.
That is how A Refugee, my debut novel, came to life.
Ideas have to travel.
For me, speaking is one of the most powerful ways to connect ideas with people.
When ideas enter conversations, they are questioned, challenged and expanded.
That is how we evolve, and how our ideas evolve with us.
For me, physical strength goes far beyond appearance.
Training builds endurance, physical and mental.
It has taught me to push, recover and keep going.
And that endurance travels with me, far beyond the gym.
Music and dance let my thoughts travel beyond words.
Art constantly reminds me that there is never just one way of seeing, or doing, something.
It pushes me to explore possibilities I may not have considered otherwise.
For me, expression is another way of thinking.
My life has never followed a straight line.
I have taught, questioned, built, acted, written, spoken, trained and learnt to express myself in different ways.
Each turn has added something to the way I think and the way I live.
I am not trying to fit those pieces into a single label.
They are all me. And I am still becoming.
